Duane Miller

Mr. Duane A. Miller has nearly 26 years of regional economic and community development experience. Mr. Miller started his career with the Region 8 Planning and Development Council located in Petersburg, West Virginia, and then has continued in the field of economic and community development with the LENOWISCO Planning District Commission located in Duffield, Virginia. Mr. Miller has been with LENOWISCO for over 24 years and presently is the Executive Director of the Agency. Mr. Miller has served on and advised several local, state, regional, and national boards. He is a current Board of Directors member and past Chairman of the Frontier Health Board of Directors, Past President and current member of the University of Virginia’s College at Wise Alumni Board of Directors, a member of the Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority Board of Directors, a Board Member of the GO VIRGINIA Region One Council and a Board Member of the Wise County, Virginia Board of Social Services.
