Diane Bowen

Diane Bowen, M.Ed., has been with Frontier Health since 1990 and most recently was the Director of Quality Improvement and Compliance.  She has a Master’s Degree from East Tennessee State University. Ms. Bowen provides oversight for compliance and HIPAA activities and training within the agency and acts as the Chief Compliance and HIPAA Officer. She also provides direction and leadership for quality initiatives within the organization, including oversight of Frontier Health’s Accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the implementation of the national and statewide quality initiatives.  Ms. Bowen is responsible for exploring and implementing integrated care opportunities with primary care in our communities.   Mrs. Bowen is also a CARF Accreditation Surveyor and since 2013 has participated in CARF surveys nationwide. Mrs. Bowen holds memberships with the Tennessee Hospital Association and the Mental Health Corporations of America, both since 2001.  She is an active member of the Quality Committee with the Tennessee Association of Mental Health Organizations and the East Tennessee Fraud and Abuse Workgroup.
